Scottish hip hop collective LOTOS are back with the inimitable new release 'Look Into The Light', fresh of the back of 'Home' produced by Show N Prove (Number 1 UK Charts with KSI, and Ed Sheeran) and the album 'Renaissance' with Fumez The Engineer.

 

The album marks a rebirth of the legendary crew including Scotland’s first female rapper which is conspicuously powerful, forward thinking and dynamic. It has a strong sense of sincere optimism and humble determination, with indomitable conviction of experienced and talented mc’s, while orchestral stylings soften the raw, drill-infused beats in a blanket rich of emotion.

 

LOTOS are the first unsigned Scottish urban act to play Glastonbury, recieve major distribution and have toured in the UK, USA and EU with Ruff Ryders, WuTang, The Game, Dead Prez,  Busta Rhymes, OT Genesis, Lauryn Hill, Talib Kweli, Moss Def, The Roots, Grace Jones, Wiley, Skeptar, Kano, Roots Manuva, Stylo G, Skinnyman, Kano, Estelle, Tony Rotton, Yellow Man, John Holt, Mighty Diamonds,  The Skatellities, Violadores Del Verso, Mungo's Hi Fi, Dan Penn and Michael Winslow. Renaissance affirms LOTOS as puritan’s in social justice, as both founders and leaders of the Scottish hip hop scene world wide.
